How to make Dua that will be surely accepted

How and when to make dua

The Art of Making Dua: Timing and Technique for Spiritual Connection

In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, it's easy to overlook the profound act of making dua
(supplication) – a powerful tool for connecting with the divine and seeking guidance, mercy, and blessings. However, the timing and technique of making dua can greatly influence its effectiveness and impact on our lives. Here's a closer look at how and when to make dua to enhance your spiritual connection:

Begin with Intention: Before making dua, it's important to set a sincere intention and focus your heart and mind on your supplication. Approach the act of dua with humility, sincerity, and a firm belief in the power of prayer.

Choose the Right Time: While dua can be made at any time, there are certain moments when the likelihood of acceptance is heightened. These include:
    • During the last third of the night: This is a special time when Allah's mercy descends upon the earth, making it an opportune moment to make dua.

Between Adhan (call to prayer) and Iqamah (start of prayer): This is known as a time when dua is readily accepted.

On Friday: The day of Jumu'ah (Friday) is considered a blessed day, and dua made on this day holds special significance.

During Sujood (prostration) in prayer: Sujood is a position of utmost humility and closeness to Allah, making it an ideal time to make heartfelt supplications.

Be Persistent and Consistent: The ProphetMuhammad (peace be upon him) encouraged believers to be persistent in making dua and to never lose hope in the mercy of Allah. Consistency in making dua, even during times of ease, strengthens our connection with the divine and nurtures a sense of reliance on Allah.

Use Prophetic Supplications: Incorporating supplications from the Quran and the Sunnah (traditions of the Prophet) into your dua adds a layer of spiritual significance and authenticity. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught numerous dua for various occasions, which serve as a guide for believers seeking to communicate with Allah.

Engage in Reflection and Gratitude: Before and after making dua, take a moment to reflect on your blessings and express gratitude to Allah for His countless favors. Cultivating an attitude of gratitude fosters a deeper sense of connection with the divine and enhances the sincerity of our supplications.

In conclusion, the art of making dua is a sacred practice that requires mindfulness, sincerity, and a deep understanding of the timing and technique involved. By incorporating these principles into your dua, you can strengthen your spiritual connection with Allah and experience the transformative power of prayer in your life.

  3. As salaamu alaiykum & Ramadhaan mubaarak! Please make du'a for me & my husband hearts to reunite so he is no longer displeased with me in any way and that he will sincerely work on our marriage to be successful and that he will leave alone the gambling, other women, undesirable association with people, constant lies & deceit, and that he will protect himself, me & our children whenever necessary from people that do not have good intentions for our marriage. We have 4 young children & have been married 13 years, I don't know for sure if we are still married as he gave me divorce when he was very angry a couple of times. Please make du'a he forgives me for anything I've done that hurt him, Jazakallahukhair.

Salamalakum wa rahmatula wa barakatu my fellow brothers and sisters. May Allah (SWT) bless you all.
I have a problem that I want to share with u all. My parents are very religious mashAllah and would like us all to be like them! Alhamdulillah we are 5 siblings all together and get on really well with each other although we are not perfect. We do occasionally fight but we will always be brother and sisters.
For a couple of years now, I have known that I will get married after I have finished my studies. Now I am in my last year in university, studying accounting, my mum and dad have spoken to both me and my sister about what is going to happen and who they have chosen to be out husbands. I am from traditional family where arrange marriages are the only option when it comes to marriage. I am ok with this. However, the man they have spoken to me about has upset me so much. For the last couple of days, I have prayed my hardest for Allah (SWT) to guide me and to help me in this situation. However, a few years before, mum did ask me about the same man and wanted to know what I would say if dad asked me to marry him (3 years ago). At the time I said "it is your decision mum and I'll do whatever u want me to do." Since then, I have prayed to Allah ji (SWT) to guide me and have asked him to not to make this situation happen. I have also said in my duas that I would marry anyone else that my mum has chosen except this particular man. I have prayed for this and made duas for this for a couple of years but I feel that my dua is not yet answered and still on the waiting list of being answered. I have also done Umrah and prayed for this in the holy mosque and Allah ji ( SWT) house but it feels I have prayed the the opposite of my pray has happened. I asked for something not to happen and it happened.
I know that Allah ji (SWT) answers our dua with 3 answers: 1) yes 2) yes but not now 3) I have a better plan for u!
I am being patient but I feel that my time in running out. My parents have asked for something that I prayed not to happen!!! Wat does this mean?? Does it mean that my dua is not accepted or does it mean I need to be more patient??? Can I ask Allah ji (SWT) to give me sign that my dua will be accepted or do I need to wait a little longer??? Does it mean that the situation that I didn't want to happen is option 3??
Please give me advice my brothers and sisters! This situation has given me stress and I hope u all will pray for me like I pray for u!!! JazakAllah Khair!!

  15. A salaam u alaikum all.

My name is Adnaan.I have spent the last 4 years in bed with constant pain every second of the day.I can't eat anything, even liquids hurt.I have tried tons of doctors locally and internationally and Aamils,Aalims,Ruqiyah,Quraan, herbal etc.I am very very ill.I have been a very healthy, strong, physically active successful guy all my life prior to my illness and now over the last 4 years I can barely function.Walking even hurts my abdomen with dozens of other horrible symptoms.I obviously can't work or plan anything like getting married and the illness has created many challenges for e.g financial, emotional, physical etc.I can't see a way out of this.I have begged and cried to ALLAH(SWT) for his help but perhaps the manner in which I have asked has been inadequate.I request you to make duaa for me as it could easily be where ALLAH(SWT) may accept one of your duaas and I will do the same for you.Lots of thanks,Jazakallah hi khairan.Adnaan
